Students learn the foundational skills needed to assist heavy equipment mechanics, including preventive maintenance, basic inspections, tool safety, fluid checks, and routine equipment servicing. Hands-on labs provide experience working with heavy equipment in a real-world shop environment and prepare students for entry-level employment. This is a hybrid course, combining online theory with in-person lab training and practical application of skills.
