The Wallace State Professional Testing Center administers the Nursing Support Technician Certification (NST-C) exam. This written certification exam evaluates the knowledge and skills required of an entry-level Nursing Support Technician, ensuring candidates understand the fundamental concepts and can safely perform essential patient care duties. Successful completion demonstrates competency and qualifies eligible individuals to apply for an Alabama Board of Nursing NST-C permit, opening opportunities to work in hospitals, physician offices, surgery centers, home health, and other approved healthcare settings. The exam consists of 70 multiple-choice questions and is administered online.
